 Hello sajhabasis,
I am travelling to Nepal through Turkish airlines. My itinerary has  just one hour of transit time in Istanbul while returning back, so I am little worried about catching the next flight. Has anyone travelled on Turkish airlines? Could you share your flight experience with Turkish airlines?

Thanks.

I am flying to Nepal via Turkish Airlines next month. My itinerary also has just one hour transit period at Istanbul Airport. I bought it from Cheapoair. So I just called them to make sure about it. The agent told me that one hour is enough to catch the next flight otherwise they would not even issue the ticket like this. And in case, that next flight is missed because of the airlines, then it will be the full responsibility of Turkish Airlines and they will take care of everything. Hope this helps you guys.

Minimum is 45 minutes as a standard time in transit. If it is less than that , avoid that route or ask your agent.

My situation is opposite. I have 24 hour halt at Istanbul, Turkey while coming back from Nepal to Washington DC. I have to stay at hotel. I was told my travel agency that I would get a free hotel and visa for 24 hours. Anyone has any idea about this? I travel with US passport.
Travel date is Nov 30. Anyone to accmpany?

Thanks

I have no idea about American Passport holder, as Turkey gives evisa to those people. For Nepali, You need to get Transit Visa, if you want to stay in hotel provided by Turkish Airlines.
