Unless you expect that price will rise by 200 dollars per oz, its not a good time to buy gold.

If you are a short term trader, then i dont know if its good idea.. But it could be a good price to buy GOLD and AAPL if you are long term investor willing to hold for few years... Also warren buffett himself just bought Apple stock recently around similar price levels to now.
