I have applied for the TPS on November 1st, 2016. Uscis status shows that the case is under review. Is there any successful story for the first time applicants (not the re-registration)?

It seems like TPS applications for the first time applicants are not approved yet.

If you are first time applicants and your TPS application is approved, please share the details of application sent date and application approved date.

Yes. My initial late filing was approved on Dec 27th 2016. Details:

Mail sent: Oct 27th
Case received: Nov 3rd / 7th (don't remember exactly)
Biometrics on: Dec 1st
Approval staus: Dec 27th
Card received within a week.

Hope this helps.
I feel like applications are case specific. I have friends who applied for re-registration not approved yet.

Thank you for the details. I sent my application on October 28th and my biometric test was on November 28th. I have not heard anything after that.

My EAD through OPT-ext would have expired on 12/09/2016. Not sure if that caused elevation based on expiration dates. Just a thought.

If it helps, one of my friends is filing a case for 'outside processing time' as it still says pending. Most to my knowledge have a decision by now.

Anybody knows what is the processing time for TPS applications?

I called the customer care but they were not able to help me. They just read the same details which is available in the applications status page.
