Well, NepalNews is still down and Kantipuronline has not been updated. That is probably because Telecom is still shut down in Nepal. I have not received any email or phonecall from Nepal, so I am pretty sure telephone line is still not open. Perhaps after the King formally declares his cabinet they will open up.

Nation magazine is up but their last publish date was Jan 30. Is it run outside of KTM?

I got one email from Nepal. Things (it says) are very calm and normal. Phone lines are down but that's about it.

I got one email too that said everything seems normal. People must be welcoming the calm (before the storm?? or after??) :)

VSAT is always gonna work coz its in the space and is not owned by the king, the reason for all the websites being down both inside and outside is beacse most of the hosting of websites is in kathmandu. all the nepalii websites which are hosted out side nepal is up, like cybernepal.com.np and the viewnepal server are up but none of it are updated.

i am not sure if call WISP are running or not, one of the wireless comany i worked for is down
