His true words follows
"We're more interested in the dark side of life, the evil thing, the night time."
"This is the end, beautiful friend.
It hurts to set you free,
But you'll never follow me.
The end of laughter and soft lies.
The end of nights we tried to die.
This is the... end."

Between childhood, boyhood, adolescence
& manhood (maturity) there
should be sharp lines drawn w/
Tests, deaths, feasts, rites
stories, songs & judgements

Lizard King remembered as landmark and legend
While the legend may be gone, his words and music live on.

"I am the Lizard King,
I can do anything."

Jimbo was a visionary more than a poet...a true spirit...He was not a musician....he was a film director...with a vision that did not fit into the 50s and 60s The only person to have realized his potential was Ray Dan Manzarek...The realu musician in the Doors. And he will always be my inspiration.. "An American Prayer" ....

NObody can say it better:

'THEY GOT THE GUNS BUT WE GOT THE NUMBER'
'THE FUTURE IS UNCERTAIN AND THE END IS ALWAYS NEAR'

jimbo's grave in p?re lachaise is an insult !! one goes expecting something grand like the lizard king but all it is is a less-than-ordinary grave lying between tombs of boring dead french aristocrats..unimaginable..oh and not to forget the lovely policemen surrounding it on july 3rd or 8th dec..it truly deserves more than that, jimbo woulda been gratified seeing this !! grrr

The page won't be enough if i begun to write abt him...he was true revolutionary, who didn't want to get bounded in any strings, world was his playground, writings his weapon. For his writings, he will remain a legend forever, even most say he was sadistic h\kinda writer, i would say he was sadistically optimisttic. Even he is not around us now, He remains inscribed inside our hearts, as a true poet who expressed all his views without any boundaries. He remains the" James Douglas Morrison". The poet....

.Yeah, Jimbo's grave in Paris at some trash location is opposed by many fans. He needs something eminent.

"I am the Lizard King,
I can do anything."
