I am wondering if there are any Nepali people practicing real estate in America. I am in process of getting Real Estate Licence in a southwestern state. If you do, what is your experience and how long have you been doing this for.

Let me tell you this you are wasting your brain, time and money at this time of period. i will suggest you to take that concept to back home and use it instead.

i am real estate agent -- part time for 2 years -- did not have problem getting license. Selling home will be a challenge! Yes, there are several Nepalese in Real Estate busines and some of them are very sucessful (i am not one of them, though!). It is very time consuming job!

There are many Real Estate practitioners in US. Just don't be like Everest Realty in Boston. I went to see apartment with them and they treat you with contempt if you don't get the apartment they show you. If you are non Nepali they will be extra nice but if you are Nepali they give 3rd class treatment specially if you don't get the apartment they show you. I heard bad things from people who bought real estate from them too.
