Hey guys and gals enlighten me; I am confused with all these political Khichadi talks and plans….. (I just wanted to make sure what I understand is correct or is it all rubbish.)

Have they (All political parties) truly/seriously decided to remove the king and make Nepal a republic OR are we having a ceremonial king?

Is it the citizens of Nepal who are going to vote for the fate of the Royalty OR is it the leaders who are going to decide on behalf of us Nepali?

What does majority citizen of Nepal want??

I am not too bright on understanding political talks.

Girija Congress imposed and Prachanda Comrade backed to decide the fate of monarchy by the first meeting of consituent assembly...that means people are forbidden to directly participate and express their on this issue.

What will happen is NC and Maos both parties will raise the slogan of "republican democracy" to garner the support and vote of the people in the forth coming election. They know that if they don't do so, they will win zero seats.

But on the meeting of the constituent assembly, the top leaders will manipulate and will not discuss on this issue or even they do, Nepali Congress party will circulate a whip on their elected members to vote against the republican government.

What is the gurantee that parties will not use veto against the republican democracy?
What is the guarantee that the elected members will not be purchased or sent to Bangkok or confined in a hotel like in the past?

Girija has befooled Prachanda and other parties.

We should advocate for Republic, sala kaam garne kalu fal khane Gyane bhalu,
It's absurd, ani tyo Maobadi alias Khaobadi leaders should be hanged till death, Tit for tat.
This way i see better Nepal. It's my personsal opinion, n i respect urs too.
