The only one I know is the family from Bagh Bazar, the Dingo shoes maker. The kids used to go to school with us. Man, they were treated so badly. I feel so sorry now. Chinese culture is so underrated and mistreated in Nepal. See our concept of Chinese are Jackie Chan, kung fu, Ching Chinong like language. That's it. We need to be fair to them compared to Indian, which we've becomed. I also know there was a doctor who had a Chinese wife and she lives in Nepal.

Are you talking about guy who used to be in Lagankhel. Man, he used to make good shoes very durable but he seemed very lonely and was bit awkward in that market crowd. But when it comes to race, some of us so pre-occupied with negatives ( and I'm talking about grown up) and we are living together fo 200/400 years together. May be we all can learn something from this guy.

Vhootee, are you talking about one of my cousins and his wife? :) I think I knew a few more Chinese living in Nepal through them.

World Map,
I don't know whether it was your cosin, but I once saw the couple on the TV, which stricked me since we hardly see people marry Chinese in Nepal.
Mr Truth,
I don't think they were in Lagankhel, if they have not moved. When I was growing up, their shop was right opposite of PK Campus. Good Dingo makers and they made good money during the hayday of Dingo fashion since they were the best. I even had one from them and it was the best. The kids (2 brother + 2 sisters) went to school with us for a while but soon left since they were treated so badly, calling monkeys, Chinks and what not. I feel so sorry for them.
What do you expect from them being awkward, since they're so few and we tease them, even the Paali Dai used to tease the kids.
