Jay Nepal,

Can anyone tell me from their experience that how long does it take for a H1b (having Bacholar degree) holder to get Green card approve?

Thanks in advance

Tom,
It might take 3-5 years. I have seen my friends who applied in EB3 category waiting for more than 3 years. So, It takes quite some time.

Labor application process (job advertisement, recruitment process, LCA certification ) ------- 6 - 10 months

I140 application/approval: 1 - 4 months

I-485: since u have bachelor's degree, for EB3, u need to wait 5 years to apply for I485 -- so 5 years
I485 approval: 4 - 8 months after applying
