Opportunity for Nepali Nurses To be Registered Nurse (RN) in the United States If you have at least a Staff Nursing degree from Nepal, you can be a RN in this summer. Ascent Total Solutions, LLC, a Virginia based company, is introducing a program which will benefit to those Nepali Nurses who are taking more than three months to be RN in U.S. Here is how the program works. The company will provide: 1.Free accommodation for three months. 2.Free ATT (Authorization to take NCLEX Test) thorough a State Board of Nursing 3.Free Finger Printing 4.Free study materials, instruction and other resources like 24 hr High speed Internet access 5.Free Registration with Pearsonvue to take NCLEX exam The company will help you: 1.To find a job as a RN but you can work anywhere you want. There is no binding agreement between you and the company 2.To process work permit, if you don’t have one. What you will pay: Once you start working as a full time Registered nurse, you will pay 39% of your first year’s income as service fee to the company. This service fee can be negotiated. Just know that there is no up front fee and you never have to pay even a penny until and unless you get a full time RN job. Therefore you are not losing anything since the company is doing everything for you. To qualify for this program, you must be registered by May 15, 2007. For more information please contact at 571-235-6575 or nursing.info@gmail.com

Allright people before doing this think twice coz there is no nursing VISA available right now. It have been 6 months they have been saying that they will open the visa next week or month and has not happened yet, renewal of this visa is not a high priority in congresses agenda.

Many of the nepalese nurses cannot pass NCLEX exam...........Even if they pass NCLEX exam, many of them cannot pass English requirement ( TSE- 50, .......IELTS ..speaking 7...along with others....) to get visa screen certificate which is the prerequisite of getting green card.....If they clear all of those exam s...........they deserve green cards. Three of my friends who were here in the US in F1 visa went to Nepal 2 years back and hurridly married nepalese nurses ....hoping to make good money and green card .......But ... All of those nurses are unable to pass any exams till date........Now ..the guys are frustrated ................

To the Business Artchitect: I see flaws in your biz module. First, you are creating a niche market just for Nepalese Customers, in that, you are curtailing yourself to one segment of vertical market capitalization. Besides, the customers would be attracted because of language and geographical affiliations, which in long-term tends to fire back at you. Again economies of scale suggest that the more diversified customers, you have, the more you would gather momentum in terms of volume. Like, Cyberdude and Messenger pointed out, the visa is one crux of it, and the rentention rate is another based on quick-to-get GC channels. Ani, your biz module is not going to work out well, given the need of high-fluency english and high-white-matter required for NCLEX passing. At least from Just Nepali customer-base prespective. No offense but that is the truth. I assume that you are running a copy-cat of what Telegu peeps do for IT consultancy. Hmmm? Do you have local inside expertise on Nursing side of stuff in VA or any other states? Do you have contacts to place your customers? Fill me in! Yes baby boomers are retiring, yes the market capitalization is there to be exploited. Please seek "How" for your questions. on sound note, this module will work out well, if you have a local base in Kerela! Hai na. Best~! -B B is posting this because he thinks he can contribute to this thread. I would refrain from my inputs if I see any unwanted flames and flares coming out of ignorance and/or little knowledge.

Bricolage , Thanks for your inputs. Business artchitect is a RN ,24 , who just passed NCLEX in her first attempt with two months of preparation. She beleives other Nepalese can do the same; NCLEX is not as as hard as some people think if prepared with right strategy and resources. I beleive, people who think they can not pass NCLEX exam, should not study nursing at the first place. For any questions, you may contact directly, either by phone or email. Once again, thanks for your insights.

emb145, It's very nice to hear or know about such opportunity exists for Nepali Nurses. As you know there is nothing such as free-lunch, no company can provide free trainings especially for groups of people. To stay in business a company has to have financial resources which is true in your case too. One or the otherway you need the money back. Could you please provide the following two utmost info to your potential customers ? After the end of the program ( or after one finds the job) how much they have to pay to your company ? What sort of contract aggreements have to be signed after you recruit one? My good wishes your company will enter the -maturity stage- of marketing strategy discussed above. Thanks and goodluck !

Bhangli Damini, Thank you and you are absolutely right. I am writing on behalf of young RN who is trying to introuce a new concept among the Neplali Nurses. The answer to your question is on the original thread ,nevertheless, I am copying and pasting the info here for you. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What you will pay: Once you start working as a full time Registered nurse, you will pay 39% of your first year’s income as service fee to the company. This service fee can be negotiated. Just know that there is no up front fee and you never have to pay even a penny until and unless you get a full time RN job. Therefore you are not losing anything since the company is doing everything for you. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

emb145, glad to see that somebody is willing to lead those people who have degree/experience but have no knowledge/idea/money to persue a career as a RN in the US. I told one of my close friend who recently came from Nepal and holding a Nursing degree with a few months of experience. She is highly interested and gave her your contact details. She will be contacting you soon.

Well, I am no agent of any company, neither intend to be. I have some experience in this area, that's all. 1. If you are already in the US, you don't have to go to any service agent to do all these stuff, unless it is free forever. 1. Visit http://www.ncsbn.org Find the contact address of the state board of nursing where you want to apply (if you have B.Sc. Nursing from Nepal, I suggest you to apply in California and few other state which don't require CGFNS certificate to apply for NCLEX-RN; if you have only I.Sc. Nursing, may Colorado and New Mexico could be of your interest). 2. Ask the state board of nursing to send fingerprinting cards to your address and download all application materials from the website. Fill in the forms, take the fingerprint from nearest police station, attach money order and send completed application form to the state board of nursing. ($150) 3. Send the verification of nursing license and transcript verification forms to Nepal and ask one of your relatives to follow up that these are properly sent. ($100) 4. Wait for few months to hear from the state board of nursing about your application. Utilize this time to prepare for the test. Once you are eligible to take the NCLEX, they will ask you to register and get ATT. You will also register at the Pearson VUE. ($200) 5. Go to http://www.cgfns.org and download VisaScreen Certificate forms and do as instructed. This process can be started any time, even before taking NCLEX-RN tests. ($400). 6. Prepare for the English test (TOEFL iBT or IELTS) and take it as soon as possible.($200) 6. Well don't loose your NON-Immigrant status. There is no working visa available for Nepali nurses until new immigration law passes. No H1B either. If you are in Nepal, start the same process from Nepal, when it is time to take NCLEX-RN test, select center in India or Hong Kong (extra $150 for international location). Once you pass both NCLEX-RN and English test, contact employers/agencies in US for green card sponsorship. Remember, filing for work permit itself costs about $2500 in government fees and $4000 in attorney fees. Who is going to pay for that? As I said, I am not any agent to any company, however, I know some of the companies who reimburse all of your costs (application fee, visascreen fee, ATT whatever is required), pay for the attorney fees (file themselves), pay for your relocation (airfare and one month free accomodation). How do you pay back to them? Simply they will ask you to sign a contract that you will work at least 24-30 months for them. That's all. They will get their money back from the employer directly. Scared? Will they cut from your salary? Is $30-$40 /hr salary too bad for you? They don't deduct anything from your prevailing wage. It's because hospitals have hard time to fill their RN positions, they will be willing to pay extra $20-30,000 for the agencies who bring in nurses for them without reducing your paycheck.

i don't know about NCLEX. but once you through with those stuffs, you would be make more than 60k right after the day of graduation due to the fact that there is severe shortage of nurses. they want to pay higher. and it might go beyond 70 and near 80k just by doing 2 yrs RN. ain't that some shit ? that salary is more than some well renowned engineers.

This is another hilarious post. Someone is putting an ad for a business, the key word being business. Some people have a problem with it as it doesnt fit in their whole manifesto of business scheme. *gag* simple answer: its not yours so shut up. Some other people comes up with a "to do" list about what should be done to secure a nursing position. Thanks, but where does that fit in with this context? If everyone could fend for themselves in all aspect of our lives, we wouldnt need any entrenuership in our lives: grow your own food, cut your own hair, wear your own weave! But that doesnt happen, so why is there a big hoopla in someone trying to make some money for getting wanna be nurses jobs and making some money out of it?
