There would be a protest really in the NY city on Sept 16th. Please join us and let?s show our support to our Nepali brothers and sisters who are protesting unelected leader?s undemocratic actions. It is expected that king would be UN giving a hypocritical speech.

That beats me why people supporting gyne. Especially those people who live in the USA. I don't know if they see problem in democracy why they are in this country. I wouldn't go to Saudi Arabia to live no matter what. If they love gyne so much then go back and help him to pack before he would be forced out from the power.

Gyane already has 3-4 years of shasan and he did not improved anything in Nepal but chaos. There are more childrens do not have educations than it used to be in before Gyane. More people are forced to leave the country becasue they have no other way to get out from the terror of maoist .

He has to go now. Nepali has seen enough and at least after seeing everything that is happening now. We should at least not trust the monarchy.

Well, Everyone knows that Political leader like Girija and all the people who comes it it are corrupt and they are no good eaither but at least we will have choice to keep them or kick them out of the leadership if we have full democracy .

Anil Ji - Bidambana yo chha ki Gagan ra Narahari le khana khoje jasto naspati le garda nai aja Nepal yo sthiti ma pugeko ho. Party -party bich hanathap, kursi ko khel, netritwa ko lagi jhagada ra anushasanhinata nai aja ko asthirta ko jad ho. These two are exposed by Girija. What we have seen in last 12 years is what is echoing within the major political parties (NC, UML, NCD, RPP, NSP) these days. That is why country had to face constitutional crisis. I am sure you have been following events taking place in last 2 and half years (after Deuba disolved the parliament). You tell me what could have been the best options left with the King, asl the ball was in his court, and all available alternates were already excercised and exhausted? Don't give me the reinstatement of parliament which was rejected by Bishwanath long agao and became a strong NAJEER.

If you talk about history and blame monarchy only for all the mis-doing then I have nothing to argue with you, I would only like to know which history book that you've read? Regarding result of King's six months, internal and external spoilers are going all out to make him unsuccessful. Yaha samma ki, educated people like you does not understand the real politik and go blindly after political parties and Sujata and Murariraj! Anil ji kag ko pachhi lagnu bhanda pahila kan chhamne garnu bes hoina ra? hamima dhairyata nai kaha chha? ICG ra AI ko dollar pachaune dhanda ko lagi hami support garchhaun tara hamilai hajarau Nepali le pai raheko dukha ra asubidha ko parbaha chhaina. Ke ICG ra AI ko report haru unbiased chhan? Tini haru ko source of information ke ho ta? 16th Sep ko gaijatra ko photo post garna chahi nabhulnu hola.

Ke Nepali sena tapai le bhane jastai "targetted against genuinely people-oriented politicians, intellectuals, journalists, other members of the civil society, and against democratic institutions, INSTEAD of being fully utilized against the Maoists". Yasko udaharan dina saknu hunchha? Tini haru biruddha police ko prayog hunu anuchit ta pakkai hoina hola. Ke ahile samma tini haru maddhe kohi sena ko goli le mariyeka wa ghaite bhayeka chhan? 2046 sal ma bhanda Madan bhandari durghatanama parda badhi manchhe mariyeko wa gahite bhayeko birsanu bhayo? America ma basera falaknu bhanda Nepal ko gaun wa galli ma dukha payeka ko marma bujhera dharma garnu uchit hola.

Anti monarqi - if we have to elect President out of those above mentioned parties probably you will find candidates Girija, Makune, Deuba, Subatha, Prachanda, Badri mandal etc. Whom do you vote? After all constitution of Nepal 2047 has given us enough power to chose head of the government. Just going blindly to republican may not be an ideal soloution. I am suprised that you are saying Maoists controlled area is more peaceful? Maoists are controlling jungle only and there are no people living in Jungle, and obviously if there is no people then there will certaily be peace. I don't which place are you talking about where such situation existed? 16th Sep ko gaijatra ko photo post garna chahi nabhulnu hola. hami pani herau na USA based bidrohi haru ko tamasha!

You are like a fuggin empty vessell makin a whole lotta noise in the back ground while people are trying listen to a Bhashan in TUNDIKHEL. You still have nor convinced me how and why your form of govt is going to fix anything. I AM ONE PERSON...THERE IS A WHOLE NATION YOU STILL NEED TO CONVINCE BEFORE YOUR CHOICE OF GOVT CAN TAKE OFFICE. SO HOW ARE YOU GOING TO DO THAT ANTIPEST ?

Empty Vessels makes a lot of noise------------------> e.g. is Anti Monarqi, who can hardly spell his own name wants to change nepal, this is why nepal is sliding backwards, when educated people live in foreign country yapper their zargon's and half educated people like Anti Monarqi and Girija sail the vessel of goverment in nepal.... What a pair??? Why not ask the people of nepal what they want? before trying to decide for them like you guys did in the early 90's ...........elephant coming elephant coming........shit!!!! it is leaving...........
Sorry like you say Mr.AnilKaji Nepal ma dherai dhan vako manchey...... maybe King is against your interest but who are you to decide for me and million's of other's like me...

Please answer the question Bathroom ma basera Coffee piuney manchey ley asking???

He is a regular janta like me without the aspiration's of being a neta or wanting to rule the country, make me believe, make him believe, make all of us believe that you have a plan and your plan will work and you won't just lead us like you did for 14 yrs....just vague speechs of hope with no results to show but your own Pajero and a brand new house in Kathmandu... I don't think the goverment pays that much to any neta's in nepal... where did they bring the money from????......

You only talk about king and what he does but what about the netas,,, what about all the chartikalas they did and still doing... why not bring that into the playing field too.. lets discuss some of your guruba's or your masters (should I say) headaches... that we as people of nepal have to bear.....................GREEDY PEOPLE>>>>>>>

Do I need to say what about Girija's daughter(or whoever she is..she is a koirala) being so vocal about nepal's situation and politics.. are we going to listen to a women who disowned her citizenship of nepal and got other country's citizenship.. why are we not angry about that????

Why not ask girija why he didn't try to quail the insurgency in it's infancy?????? why doesn't he want to tell the people of nepal how much he is worht in cash same goes to makuney too.....

There are so many question's to ask but I will in the next thread..
MAKE REGULAR PEOPLE LIKE US BELIEVE THAT YOU ARE BETTER THAN THE KING THEN WE WILL FOLLOW YOU TO NEW YORK WITH THE BLACK FLAG OTHERWISE HE IS BETTER LOOKING THAN YOU :0) FROM WHERE I STAND AND SEE....(though he has a few bad apples in his cabinet rookie mistakes, he's got absolute power for 3 months.. wait and see) ... ------>>>>We waited for 14 yrs and got nothing from your gurubaz, 3 months is nothing dude.. it's peanuts.

Answers please!!!! from all you so called nepal supporters of democracy and liberators for all of us.... please make me follow you with your facts and books and not your HawaMahals again.....I will follow you with my Khukuri but for right now I will side with the Shah Dynasty... they looking good for me.... Mr chor or daka

First of all I am not a girija or madav or any other neta?s man. As I told you I would support those who support my views of republican democracy. At this time it seems no so called major party or leaders support republican democracy. In order to be my neta one has to support republican democracy.
I believe you might have heard recent statement on republican state from girija. It was disappointing. In fact I have been saying old leaders like girija and madav are the roadblock of republican state. They also want monarchy system so they could have musical chair all their life.
Yes I dun talk about those leaders because anyone can talk about them. . Talking about girija and madav or other leader about no big deal you could show black flag to then everyday. But you cann?t do such a thing about king and his family. I have been saying there is corruption in every level. People have different approach to get rid of it. We have been trying to bottom to up. But it never reaches more then mid level. So I am saying we have to try from top down. That means getting rid of corruption of Monarchy. By the way when you talk about girija?s daughter corruption you forget to mention king?s son in law loot (with new mobile deal)
I don?t see any difference between corruption and loot. They both are crime. As I told before political leaders and other civil servants takes bribe. Taking bribe means stealing and place loots.
Political leaders and civil servants are thieves and place is daka. Thieves are scared with people and people are scared with daka..
One hand you said educated people leaving country. Why are the educate people leaving country if monarchy system was doing that great to Nepal? And what ever educated people left in Nepal they are opposing monarchy system. I guess you read the news.
Your arguments don?t make sense. Well if you consider yourself educated person I guess you do cause you can talk filth. I believe still in Nepal we called those educated who can talk filth in English.

Here I want to make couples of thing clear.
I am not any party person.
I am the person who supports republican democracy; if we get my way in Nepal even you filth trash talking English babu could be head of state of Nepal. Off course you have to talk nice if you want to get votes.

anti monarqi ji and people who share his views, why don't you guys take a break and let this king work for the time he has sought for from the Nepali people. If things don't change then we know that you guys are always there to fix all the problems in Nepal. With Nepal going republic, everything will be free from the very next day-free education, free food, house for all, free health services etc. Since we know that the bright future and bright leaders are always there why not go through this adventure for now hun? As for denouncing people like Girija, they were no less revolutionary in their prime. They didn't even have internet to exhibit their revolutionary ideas from the US of A. They had to do it from the mother land and they have made a lot of sacrifices. That still does not justify the corruption that followed the 90s, but let us only blame them for what they deserve. hai?

Good luck with the protest rally on Sept 16 tara Nepal ko atti bejjat chahin nagarnu hai. There are still some people here who want to think that they are proud to be a Nepali. ghar ko ijjat bahira lutne kaam nagaraun.

Mr tero Dai

I never said republican democracy would provide everything for free. I simply said we could give free education up to 12th grade and free basic health to poor and disable people with royal budget. It is immoral to pay one wealthy family that huge some of money for doing nothing.
Again it is true democracy wouldn?t guarantee everyone free education and free housing or health care free transporting etc, but democracy guarantees the right to ask to govt where their food education, health care housing transport etc is.

As far as giving time we have given more then 250 years time for monarchy system. It very funny here people who says 10 years of democracy was more then enough re but for monarchy they still want time hhahaha.
Only time for monarchy will get to confess their loot and ask for forgiveness with Nepali people and leave kingship and let people choose their head of state.

kasto housefull bhayera cahli ra filim raicha! yeso herna chireko.. here pachi comment garnai paryo..

Go protest even if you don't know what's that you are protesting against. Its cool to protest. Its even more cool to rebel.

However,

if you all leave aside your youthful idealism aside and think seriously, you see not much point in these sorts of protests. Just what is it that you want to achieve? Overthrow the King? And just how the situation in Nepal will improve if the King abdicates? Do the Maoists stay quiet and join the democratic parliamentary bandwagon once the King is gone? Who will become the President of the Republic of Nepal?

--
If the King abdicates, there will be no democracy in Nepal. Don't worry, we'll have something even better! We'll have the People's Republic of Nepal which will export the revolution to the world. Since we'll have a People's Republic, we don't need intellectuals, doctors, enginners, journalists. .. we need the masses to run the state. All those pot bellied burgeoise(sP?) intellectuals will have to learn from the masses by going to the rural areas. This in turn means, our people will live longer. Everyone will be tilling the land instead of sitting on their desk and thinking burgeoise stuff. How awesome eh!!

In the People's Republic, our people should not only be physcially strong, they need to be mentally- emotionally pure too. And their no better way to cleanse oneself from the burgoise (sp?) infleunce than self criticism. We all will be criticizing ourselves, let our neighbors, friends, collegues criticize us, and in turn we will criticize them for their reactionary habits/statements (both real and imagined). Then we'll all beat each other at the end of the self criticism sessions to prepare oursleves for the battle with the Southern reactionaries.

We will not tolearte any class enemies. Those suckers will know what the "dictatorship of the peasants" means. We will wipe those scums from the face of the earth. We will be the first true egalitarian state in the world. All the capitalists will shake with fear even at the mention of our glorious revolutionary nation's name. Remember: Nepal is Red. Our Great leader said, the East is Red. The east will be red. Nepal will be redder!

We will also have marxism-maoism learning school for the masses. Since there will be no TV radio and newspaper, marxism learning school run by the neighborhood commitees with the help of the district level committees and the local communes, will make sure the citizens are getting enough entertainment reading, reciting, discussing and memorizing Das Capital and the Communist Manifesto.

---

I am tempted to live in the people's democratic republic of Nepal "the dictatorship of the peasants", is any body eles tempted too? :-)

anti monarqi ji, raja le mageko 3 barsa ta un lai dinai parcha. Now, you can't really compare the 250 years with the next three years, really. The context is entirely different. We are no longer in a baise, chaubise rajya situation. The main agenda is to bring back peace in the country, and the king wants to try his way for that. If his way does not deliver anything good then you won't even have to convince most of the people why your ideas are better. They will realise by themselves. So, ali dhairya garnu paryo.

We all are living in fear. King say if he lives Mao would take over and if Mao says if they leave king would take over. No communist would come to Nepal if we kick monarchy system.
It is tactics of the royalist create fear to hang on power. No true freedom loving believes you. Yes it is time to kick monarchy system out along with Mao. It has already proven that Mao and Monarchy needs each other to survive. That is why I believe once monarchy disappears Mao would vanish too.

Well Mr. dai if there defected machine and you send good product via it the finish product would be defected too. It is monarchy system is defected so no mater who becomes it would take country down ward. Now you say give this too three years and when paras comes you would say give him too chance too.
King is not supper man or God. He is like you and me. If you believe your king is that popular and cares about country and people why dun he leave kingship and run for president.
For me too accept monarchy system is like accepting racism and castism. How could you tell other people to practices caste and race system is wrong and illegal? When you let only cast or race too become head of state time after time.

Anti_monarqi, there are a couple of things I?d like to share with you.
1. I would very much like to support our Nepali brothers and sisters in their fight against tyranny, oppression and ?undemocratic actions.? I would also like to NOT have to do this every time the government changes in Nepal. Given your unconditional support for a republic setup, I get the feeling that I (and others like myself who are not convinced on the democratic republic argument), will be protesting Baburam and Prachanda and their representatives in the US while you will be no where to be found.
2. ?It is expected that king would be UN giving a hypocritical speech.? Eh sathi, tell me, where on earth have you encountered any speech given by a political figure that does not resonate as hypocritical to someone or the other? You have to be more specific than this. If you want to drum up support, tell the people something we don?t already know ? not some general statement that would be cause for us to protest every single politician every time he/she opens his/her mouth!
3. There is one experiment with free education up to 10th grade in Nepal ? it?s called Budhanilkantha School. Do you see all these ?super-empowered angry people? running around the internet complaining about everything from being denied the post of school captain to claiming that free education was actually a conspiracy to further undermine the marginalized Nepali populations? This doesn?t give me a very good feeling for ?free education.? I think that people should pay something (however much they can) so that they learn to appreciate what they get in return. This American motto ?nothing is for free? takes on a whole new dimension when you think about what free education did for some people.
4. Who is spending money in Nepal to keep up the Monarchy system? I don?t understand where you?re going with this. Are you saying that because people buy and sell goods and services in Nepal that the Monarchy is strengthened? Are you suggesting that people stop transacting completely and that this will energize democracy?
5. You ask why people support Gyanendra. This is a good question, especially for those who live in the US, thrive in a fully capitalist society and wish a dictatorship on Nepal. Here are a couple of reasons why this might be the case ? i) The alternative to ?Gyane? is either back to square-1 or worse ii). Because the Maoists are a much bigger problem than Gyanendra and his pack will ever be iii). Because most Nepalis living in the US or abroad would like to have a Nepal to go back to. Your opinion certainly differs on this matter and you have every right to differ. Your message might be stronger if you stop asking rhetorical questions as part of your presentation.
6. Dalli Resham, when was the last time you kicked out a politician from power in Nepal by way of the ballot? Can you remember? Exactly.
7. You may not be a ?girija or madav or any other neta?s man,? but sadly for you, the republican slogan is taken. Just like some will rush to call anyone opposed to idea of a republic Nepal a ?royalist,? most people will rush to call you a ?Maoist.? Baburam and Prachanda support the republican idea (fully) so they are the netas for you. Just wanted to bring this obvious detail to your attention.
8. I cannot speak for all the educated people who left Nepal, but I can speak for the few I know ? most of my friends who left Nepal couldn?t give a rat?s ass about monarchy, Maoists or anything remotely political. They are just fed up with the system in general and not any group in particular. But, the primary reason they?ve emigrated abroad is exactly because they educated themselves and got to a position where they could find better paying, more satisfying jobs elsewhere. It?s part of this thing called globalization.
9. Educated people (Intelligentsia the way you are using the term) are opposing the monarchy for a simple reason ? this is what they do. These folks are the gold mine thinkers of our country and it is their ?job? to offer criticism of everything they disagree with. Not to break your heart, but even in a republican setup, I?m afraid these ?educated people? are still going to be opposing the leadership (unless of course your ?netas? decide to cut their balls off or gouge out their eyes for going against the democratic republican party line).

I am almost sure that you consider what I have written here ?filth? because it is written in English. And, according to your trend of thought, I am fairly certain this makes me ?educated.? It is not the language that determines level of education saathi, it is the quality of your thinking.

Look, my point is this ? you have your strong republican views, others may have their monarchical views and others may want a rejuvenated constitutional monarchy. Each his its strengths and weaknesses and each his its supporting arguments. There will be people from each and every single camp at the rally in New York. Each person or group will have a unique message to send to Gyanendra and the present government. Be accepting of what others think and they will respect what you have to say.

Just like to you ?accept(ing) monarchy system is like accepting racism and castism,? to me, thinking about republicanism is like asking for a couple of million people to die so that people like you can melt into obscurity ? quite a repulsive idea.

I have just one answer to you right now. You believe you have to pay something to get something so what paras sis is doing to get 10 laks per year what paras 3 kids doing to get 12.5 laks and 8 laks per year. What king?s mom doing to get 50 laks per year for free? You are ok with it but and you have trouble me saying people should get free education. Even in USA up to grade 12 is free unless you want to send kids in private school.
If I don?t know who would come in protest or not but if you come there you would see me so don?t assume that I wouldn?t be there. Well perhaps monarchy system was ok in past but not anymore. I don?t have to convince you have your right choose your own head of state. It seems you choose gyane as head of state but where is my right to not choose him. It is about choice. I never said you shouldn?t support who ever want but I should have that right too. So I want to vote for head of state. I am not telling you give your right but I want my right too.
With monarchy system only you got right. But if we have republican state we both get our right. If you want could choose Mr Gyne or anyone and I have vote someone who would be standing against Mr Gyane.
Yes there is no doubt for me accepting monarchy system is like accepting castism , racism. Once I accept monarchy system I loose all moral value to say ?caste and race based discrimination is bad and illegal.
Well I can tell when politicians were kicked out from power. Congress lost its majority when Mr Girja dissolved the parliament. And Bam dev and it friends lost election when they broke with UML so Nepali people have been kicking politicians right and left. By the way Ktm people never accepted KP he lost 3 elections there.

Typical.

Like your "the republic way or the highway" friends, you spit programmed rhetoric but neither comprehend nor absorb the essence of what others say. You are quick to retort, but your rhetoric does not bear the slightest hint of rational, progressive thought.

As expected, you appear to have nothing of substance to retort so immediately you jump to the conclusion that I am a supporter of Gyanendra. This is also not uncommon. People who don't listen as well as they talk tend to hide their own inadequacies by launching defensive bouts under the facade of offensive allegations.

I said the best bet for a neta to represent your thought cogently would be the Maoist leadership based on the very parameters you set out in our own writing. In response you apply the following logic: "this guy seems not to be in agreement with the republican line so by default, he must be a supporter of Gyanendra." Think about the implications of this logic some more.

You have "one answer from me right now" and I will only have one answer from you, ever!! And not surprisingly, this is the same answer you have for everyone, all the time: "go the republic way and everthing will miraculously fall into place." I don't think so friend.

I have no interest in making this a pissing competition. You've made your point 9 times on this thread alone, and it's the same point over and over again. I believe I've made my point also.

In case you have the urge to pick another point out of my previous message and go off on another tangent about republicanism, feel free to do so. But until you take the time to actually read and comprehend what others say, I will not pay you the courtesy of indulgence in your republican rant.

Have a good night. : )
