I will edit this story in my spare time and post it back here. Some editing is required. When I say 'editing', I don't mean grammar. I don't think I know enough grammar to correct my own grammar. It is the context that I intend to edit.

It shows our Bheda mentality.. I did not see one single critique of this write up here. each and every post reflects ass-kissing attitude. Doesn't it show that nepalis are inherently ass kissers? Where is the analytical and inquisitive mind?? I believe, sum-off wouldn't mind having some constructive criticism, would you sumoff??

Khabardar, I think the rest who are not saying ‘you da man’ are just sparing me. I am pretty sure many people hated this story. Most of the people by nature do not enjoy offending others; it’s not an emotionally lucrative profession. But trust me, a constructive criticism will not offend me. That will make me happy. Just spend some time and try to understand the tone of the story before critiquing it though. The other reason people don’t post negative comments is they fear of being tagged ‘envious’—which I believe is ridiculous. As a society we have not completely evolved to accept the inclusion of a critic. That is because we don’t know how to be a critic without being personal. Read your own comments. You wrote: “our Bheda mentality.” Was the use of word ‘Bheda’ necessary in getting your point across? I will reach my wit’s end if I start debating you on this. So I won’t. What the hell… now I think about it… What the hell am I defending here? Why am I even replying to you? Am I really that insecure? (Never mind me, these are just rhetorical questions). Where is Lumi when I really need to be defended? I think she’s a nice girl (very sensitive though, I have a first-hand email experience). Never use the word ‘fan’ with her, not even figuratively. I immediately need five compliments from five distinct user_ids saying how good I am. Khabardar has made me feel very very insecure. I will skip lunch if you don’t tell me how good I am. Pashupatinath le vasma.

Thank you Sum_off for ackowledging me. Well, I am here, being a passive sajhaite. I decided because, firstly, when I started the thread, I got this email, which claimed it was from you (which I feel is not), saying that I shouldn't have done it. Secondly, I somehow feel, it's better to be a passive reader, what with every other envious readers :) pouncing on you for being a "fan" of Sum_off !!

"What the hell… now I think about it… What the hell am I defending here? Why am I even replying to you? Am I really that insecure? (Never mind me, these are just rhetorical questions). even I couldn't understand why a good writer like you (best I should say) trying to defend and clarify on what Khabardar had said..that's his problem and he himself has admitted as one of the BHEDAS by saying OUR beda mentality. don't take it so hard on heart dear.. he's just trying to trigger your tolarance nerves..just tell him to get a good night sleep..loooks like he's been sleep deprived. I wonder if Khabardar actually read the whole story..Khabardar dude..enjoy what life has to offer to you.. jealousy don't pay you a penny :) You are the BEST sum_off.. just keep posting..

wow, Tamang lady, you seem so marvellllllooous on buttering up!! You go gal!! I am not at all jealous, or whatever, in fact, I like the dude's writing. What I am trying to get at is the way people are, like, "waaaaaooooo!!" ing. And when everybody "woooooows"--there you go!-- you have Bhedas all around you. baaaaa...baaaaa....baaaa....at least try to say why you are baaaaaaoing ....

Khabardar darling.. For your Kind Information ..Tamangni and Buttering never goes together(if only you knew Tamangs).... what you have termed as Baaoing is "Appreciation" if i have to put your word with much decency.. just simply enjoy the story ..weave your own imagination on it.. relate it to daily life..you will have less stuff to complain about... have a good night sleep!!

Im telling you, this guy should've listened to the guy when he took driving test. Trying to save squirrel one more time, he swirved and must've hit that dump truck. Damn squirrels creating accidents everywhere. And that tooth on ice-cream, somehow, that girl must've planted her dead tooth on his ice-cream. her fault!! seems like your story hangs around NOVA. Vienna, Manassas, chantilly... and enough to know that WTOP goes traffic and weather every eight minutes, AND by bob marbourg.

khabardar....afu kasto bheda mentality ko rahecha...not only that you seem to fit into that stigma of Nepalese who cannot congratulate someone when they have a quality that you (surely) do not possess. Anyhow..I can't write well for the love of God hence i follow when I cannot lead :). Call it kissing whatever - thank you very much!

Vanilla, dead tooth, squirrel.... these are just few days we live in our whole life. A kid who mothers his own mom, does all teen age mischiefs, falls for a buddha Aama, realizes how beautiful life is with love and family and struck to death by mishap. And again you shared your wit with us. Mr happy can't be the cause of dreary; Symbolic puddle; and Insurance company hiring you before you turn Confucius...etc are some of your pearls. With each new stories, you are becoming more closer to us. We know you are not deterred by few challenges. we can't afford to lose you from sajha.

imi, Since you have been very nice to me from the beginning I am going to explain you the story through other people’s comments. Please read: Ashley writes: Starts with pretty simple stuffs, but deeper it goes, decidedly weirder it gets, and at the end, manages to explain readers how it was a supposed confrontation between life and death. Tamang Lady says: weave your own imagination on it nepalonmymind writes: So, he did survive his mom, the failed driving test, drugs, and his own superficiality and turned out all right didn't he? And what wonderful insights we get into who he is now. All he needed was more luck and life. (the ‘luck’ clue was in my Dashain greeting in the end, she seems to have unraveled it). sunnydev writes: A kid who mothers his own mom, does all teen age mischiefs, falls for a buddha Aama, realizes how beautiful life is with love and family and struck to death by mishap. Between nepalonmymind and sunnydev the story has been explained in its totality. Now your assignment is to find out the sentence in this story that talks about Iraq War without mentioning the word Iraq or war. If you can figure that out, I will change your ‘Incomplete’ grade to B+. Others, I'm not going to stop writing. I think khabardar was just being playful, he was not being mean. Nails, You make me feel above average. Thanks.
