IF YOU WERE TO WRITE OPEN LETTER TO OUR EX KING GANENDRA !! HOW WOULD YOU ELABORATE YOUR FEELINGS IN IT?
About me
I would ask him to spent those huge sum of money that he has got in his posession to upgrade the living standard of a common Nepali Citizen. I would want him to provide them with food clothing and shelter and education. I know he still has got abilities and resources to help  Nepalese living the poverty and backwardness!!. Our country is going from bad to worst day by day and if no one of our elected Leaders makes some remarkable political change in our country then our future is uncertain.
I know he has lost his charm in the heart of many Nepalese but still remains amicable and voracious  personality in the heart of many . I would want him to maintain this charm that still remains stubborn in the hearts of those people. And lastly i want to suggest him that "silence is not an action"

Before asking for others to do something, ask yourself raju161. What have you done for your fellow Nepalese people and Nepal?

Raju161,

Kina har maneko?

Sajha is definitely a great place to meet new people, an even better place to run into a$$holes. :)

Don't spoil your experience by taking criticism too hard :). Ek kaan le bhitra arko kan le bahira. Everything is to be taken with a pinch of salt. We're all hypocrites here on a venting rampage.

So dont worry bro. Its just a discussion forum, and it stops at that. Its definitely no political machine.. At least not yet :)

Just smile and wave ;) :D

Hope you dont leave permanently. :)

La Peace.

Raju
I agree with Dekchi Bro...This is a just virtual platform to express views and ideas and one shouldnt take it by heart and becomes emotional. Just dont care about what others said, just be yourself. Dont be like another Jwala.

He ( Gyanendra) is a pure businessman and even he accumulates more than KUBER (in story he was the richest man on the earth), would not mind picking monies that are on the top of aachi. Many of the royal people wanted to establish Birendra University and donate all Birendra's estate, but Gyanendra pocketed it.

This guy is day dreaming about Gyanendra sharing some of his wealth to needy people, it will happen the day the sun will rise from the west.

Waste of space in Sajha, some one deleted mine too.

A little over a year after he left the Narayanhiti Palace following the formal declaration of the erstwhile kingdom as a federal republic by the country's newly elected parliament, former king Gyanendra is said to be preparing to "break his long silence" next month.

'Ghatana Ra Bichar', a Nepali weekly tabloid, has reported in its latest edition that the last Shah king, who has lived a very secluded existence with his wife in a small bungalow atop Nagarjun hills in the outskirts of Kathmandu since he was formally dethroned, is planning to issue a message"in the name of his fellow countrymen" coinciding with his 62nd birthday celebration on July 7.

Quoting unnamed sources close to the former king, the paper said that the monarch-turned-commoner is greatly upset looking at the current situation of the country and is bogged with fears that it might opt for a destructive path.

In his message the former king, now identified just with his name Gyanendra Shah, is expected to put forth his views on all sorts of problems that continues to plague the country even after a peace deal that ended the bloody civil war instigated by the Maoists three years ago.

The weekly also said that a "main organizing committee" has been formed under Khilendra Prasad Pandey, former Nepalese ambassador to Thailand, to mark the 62nd birthday of the former king with pomp and pageantry.

The birthday celebration will include special worship at various temples in Kathmandu Valley. nepalnews.com June 26 09

Looks like phonies are scared to death .

At least a dozen people were injured, one critically, in a skirmish that ensued after cadres of Unified CPN (Maoist) affiliated Young Communist League (YCL) attacked a programme organised by Rastriya Prajatantra Party - Nepal (RPP-N) in Pokhara Thursday morning. Some six policemen were also injured in the scuffle.

Ten of those injured were RPP-N activists. Reports said YCL cadres with wooden sticks and iron rods in their hands suddenly attacked them at Siddhartha Chowk at 8:45 am while they were collecting signatures in support of their nationwide programme to declare the country a Hindu state and restore constitutional monarchy, according to reports.

RPP-N district chairman Devi Jung Gurung has sustained serious injuries in the attack. He is currently undergoing treatment at Model Hospital.

District division chairman Lal Bahadur Malla including Amir Miyaa, Sakuran Miyaa, Ram Bahadur Tamang, Dand Raj Acharya were also among the injured RPP-N activists. They are also undergoing treatment at a local hospital.

YCL cadres also clashed with police personnel who had intervened to take control of the situation. They started pelting stones at the police after the latter tried to stop them from disrupting the RPP-N program.

In the scuffle two YCL cadres and six police personnel sustained minor injuries. One of the injured has been identified as YCL district chairman Suman Devkota.

Following the clash, the main market center of Mahendra Pul has been shut down and transportation has also been obstructed.

Reports said there is a heavy presence of security personnel in the area as the situation is still very tense. nepalnews.com

Maoists change party stance on role of president under new statute

UCPN (Maoist) has turned its earlier decision upside down and raised a new demand that the new statute should have provision for direct election of an executive president.

On Tuesday, the party presented its new proposal at the meeting of the CA committee to determine the form of government against its earlier stance that the president would be elected by central and state assemblies.

Party’s central committee member Top Bahadur Rayamajhi said that party has changed its stance after the decision of its central committee held recently. He opined that an executive president elected directly is needed for power balance when country adopts the federal system.

Lawmakers from other political parties expressed irk at the Maoists’ repeated changes in its stance saying it would derail the constitution writing process.

The committee called its next meeting on Thursday after failing to find any consensus on the new proposal. nepalnews.com

Dudes who cares about constitution writing? Give me a break.
