Don't talk about virtual things. Gyane was not in the rule but  not restive. Its too simple, one who can murder all his intimate family for the power, how can one expect him to give up that power so easily. He will try to stick in that position by hook or crook. When the king took over ..sacking the political powers and intensifying the heat on the maoists by deploying the Army.......The maoist were losing and the political parties were sacked from power.....Two Rival factions of Nepal........But for POWER they became friends.....the age long battle between the chair and leg pulling political party leaders forms alliance,,,not only among themselves but include their arch rivals.....the Maoists who was formed due to the corruption of these same leaders........Now with Indias support ..these new formed alliance did whatever to disrupt the King and put huge abstacles before him to ruin the country even more so that the King would look wicked bad from every angle...........The kings effort to bring satbility was ruined and was put under heavy critisizm By int communnity. The maoist and the political leaders made it sure that the KING WOULD NOT SUCCEED.....otherwise their long list of crimes will be brought out infront of the people....It was ado or die situation for this new alliance of criminals......The years of sucked money from Nepal ,,,,,,AIDmoney stacked in their swiss accounts helped them in their quest to desatbilize nepal..........NOW The king had the Army and police +the armed police under his command.....the people who surrrounded the Palace had no arms....the army was ready.............HAD THE king been a power hungry animal LIKE YOU SAY he is...............why give it up soooooo easily stepping down infront of the nepalese people..??? that was not done my mandales. That was done by RAW trained Biharis. Again, I have inside information on this. India wanted to control Nepal for a long time. As long as Nepal does not maintains any army India is fine---so that they can take us like Sikkim. Again, we are proud of our army and once that is gone we would be no different then any Indian. Nepal can be one other Indian state.
India was directly controlling Maoists in Nepal. Once they realized that Maoists used them to move up the ladder they started all this nonsense in tarai.
A few days ago India openly said that Tarai is Nepal's internal matter. However, they cant support the Nepali govt because there is support for them in among Indian masses. This means they wnt help us if a terrorist bombs a Nepali bus and runs to India. They wont give that guy back.
