In terms of wealth amassed by the INDIVIDUAL without inheritance it's Vinod Chaudhary and Hulas Golcha. Although Mr. Golcha's wife isn't as humble as Mr Golcha, Mr. Golcha himself has had very very very modest beginnings. How modest?.
Well, when he was a youth.he was a smith...meaning he used to melt iron and bet them down to various vessels, pots etc......then he increased his measly living to a small shop......then after several years his shop turned into a much bigger business and after working hard in his first big business "falam kutne business"...he eventually went on to establish hulas basmati rice.
Now this dude has started his line of vehicles..hahahaha
I know all these personal life stories because my grandparents actually knew him. They saw that boy rise from a iron beater to a businessman.
