Hey friends There would be a protest really in the NY city on Sept 16th. Please join us and let?s show our support to our Nepali brothers and sisters who are protesting unelected leader?s undemocratic actions. It is expected that king would be UN giving a hypocritical speech.

i never said he was wrong. i just want to know the source. if it happened then it is mentioned somewhere. it has always been the case. the reason i am doubting that is because of "BHIM SEN THAPA"'s mukhtiyari. he was overthrown because he did not want to do the same thing mentioned above making somebody else king in place of SURENDRA. [ who was a rightful heir, first son] btw, rana bahadur died of plague was not murdered. [ i believe that is what is mentioned by historians! no!!!] ========================================== anyway what do i know?

Hey do you guys ever protest when some Indian dignitaries/head of state come to your city? you know to protest their eating up our border, town, water?? Go take a deep look at yourself in the mirror and see if you find a traitor in there. Only if you were vocal about our National interest so earnestly. Wait a minute ! Yeah, that's right - for you guys crying DEMOCRACY is easier than go butt head with your malik Indians who want Nepal to their Satellite state.

NK, You are not in the impression that our borders were unscathed until 1990, are you ? Here is a good book to learn about what happened to our border throughout history including during Panchayati ramrajya. Nepal Ko Simana (Border of Nepal) By Buddhi Narayan Shrestha Published by: Bhumichitra Land Development Center, 2002 A Sajha announcement related to the author - http://www.sajha.com/sajha/html/eventdetail.cfm?eventid=241

Nepe no no of course not. But you all wanted a democratic state and fewer people like you wanted kings to be abdicated. Lo and behold, the kind granted us election (however reluctantly)! Where is your voice then to protest THAT (land grabbing by Indain border town) atrocity? Or the democracy you got was only to loot Nepal? Why so mute about that atyaachaar? Why so docile about you and your democratic friend when it comes to THAT issue, i.e. our country's borders? You Nepe, you live in DC. Why don't you spend some of your "anti King stand" energy to protest THAT damage infront Emperor George Bush . Have you ever thought about that? You see Indian's seemana micheney gall is just a symptom of a bigger problem. And Nepali like you are so myopic you just want to protest king and that only.... Laurdy Lord help me!! Last not the least Nepe, of course don't think I am so naive that I do not want democracy. Who in the right mind do not? I am just exasparated of the people who are so indignant and ready to hallao signs for a day protesting the Head of the State and the next day go back to their burrow. And, be blind about Nepal's real problems, i.e Maosist, border, poverty.

And you are not exasperated of what the King and Tulsi Giri are doing, I suppose ? >and , be blind about Nepal's real problems, i.e Maoist, border, poverty. Any particular thing that the King and Tulsi giri doing regarding these problems that you would like to mention ? Don't mention that the King had secretly offered to the Maoists a share in the power if they help him to destroy political parties.

Nepe, if you read your reply carefully, you will be amazed by the shallowness of it. Your answers is rather reactive - not thought out fully . Or is the word REACTIOARY? You decide GAZAL maharaj.

Of course it was reactive, NK. What do you expect ? I was just reacting to a reactive remark. So it could go only up to the depth and span of the remark, hence the shallowness. Good night.

Well you all have right to protest what ever you want protest for. This is the beauty of the democracy. Only in democracy you can criticize democracy. Perhaps in other system you can only show the support for that system but in democracy you can support and oppose it. I just wanted to people to know about protest but people keep bring issue which are interesting. Here is one thought if we want to get rid of so called Indian influence then again we have to get rid of monarchy system. Cause from the blood relation our future king ( paras son) would have 66% Indian blood. Now you might say how? well this king grand mom was Banarasi Indian and paras wife is Indian too that makes paras son more Indian blood then nepali. Other thing is this when this king was business man he had more Indian partners then nepali. That show he trust Indian more then nepali. However I dun care who is more or less Indian. I just want to see elected head of state. I wouldn?t put any bar on king g and his son if they want to run for president after leaving their post. Because I consider them nepali too

BathroomCoffee Me racist hhahaahha you must be in half sleep bro. I think people who believe in Monarchy system are racist cause to be king one has to come from certain clan or family. In fact monarchy system is state sponsored racism. I want monarchy system gone so all race and all nepali have same chance to be head of state and sever country. Yes and our protest rally would boost moral to those nepali brothers and sister who are fighting for their fundamental rights.

Hey I do not believe in anything farce. You need to read your history in detail. All the shit yer talkin' about..he he..defines you as a Nepali(you tend to forget WHO YOU ARE). If someone didn't tell you about what a republic or democrat or however the fug you define yourself currently.. you would not know any better. But that does not mean I agree with everything that goes on in the country. But then again that kinda shit happens everywhere anyway..even in US...cause we do not live in a perfect world. If THE PEOPLE are ok with it ..then all your noise makin' aint gonna do shit. And what fundamental rights are our brothers and sisters fightin' about ? I am confused ...You're talkin as if we are living under Saddam or somethin' C'mon now...

BathroomCoffee I might not be smart like you but I know what is democracy and human right. Yes I want democracy no but if or. And I want republican state again no but if or .Dictators are dictators. Just they come in different form. Some come as Hitler or some come as Saddam or some come as Stalin or some come as Pinochet or some come as Fujimori of some come as king G... And some come as Musaraf and Tito on and on. All the dictators dun like to free press and media. That is why they ban them first. And King g also did as typical dictators do. He banned Fm radio and news had put censure on news papers already. That makes him one of the dictators of the world.

As I had mentioned before..big diff between gyaney and dictators....is that HE SAID HE WILL RESTORE DEMOCRACY AFTER STABALIZING THE COUNTRY. Now I am holding that mofo to his word. Till then I personally feel he should do whatever needs to be done. Be it censorship, giving up liberty etc. etc(they have that here too called the PATRIOT ACT). All the FOOLS protestin' on behalf of their half asses leaders are just plain blind. Cause when it comes to cuttin' the cake ...he he You think they are gonna get a peice of it ? Gotta be dreamin' he he So far all I have seen is that in the past 15 yrs of so called Democracy country regressed rather than progressed. I personally feel that Nepal's literacy rate being as it is... The citizens are not ready for a full court press of democracy. Democracy does not mean being able to PISS ON KING G'S palace gates, or cuss at Gyaney and his fam. For me personally its more important to restore stability...so regular Joshmo's and have a job(instead of running around the streets protesting and throwing stones), so we can get some foreign investment(so they can offer jobs to our fellow brothers and sisters), so schools can open everyday( today's kids are the future of the country), So the govt. is open for business everyday(instead of all this Nepal Bandh bullshit). How the hell you expect a country to progress when the govt is forced to closed all the time ?

BathroomCoffee ji Well friend this king?s dad told nepali too he would have multi parties election in 6 month when he killed democracy in 2017 but we didn't have multi parties election for more then 30 years again it very typical of a dictator to say he would held election or leave power after while. But they never leave power. That is the history lesson.
