Suspect arrested in store clerk's slaying By NATHANIEL JONESStar-Telegram Staff Writer Arlington police have arrested one suspect in connection with Tuesday’s killing of a store clerk during an attempted robbery and charged him with capital murder. Jared Birmingham, 21, was escorted out of a north Arlington apartment about noon Friday. Birmingham limped out of the second-floor apartment in the 2500 block of Country Ridge Lane. Police say they believe he injured his left foot in the robbery. Shekhar Regmi, 20, of Irving, a Nepalese immigrant, was shot once in the back of the head late Tuesday by one of two masked men who held up the Fina Mart at 2005 E. Copeland Road near Six Flags Over Texas, police said. A warrant has been issued for two other suspects — a second man in the store and a third who apparently drove the getaway car, Detective Kyle Dishko said Friday. Birmingham was the taller suspect in video images shown on the Star-Telegram online edition this week, police said. Investigators say they believe he fired the fatal shot. Regmi worked part-time at the store. He was studying engineering at North Lake College. About 10:45 p.m. Tuesday, two men — one about 5-feet-8, and the other about 6 feet — walked into the store as Regmi was stocking in a back room and a second clerk was sitting below the counter. As soon as the men entered the store, the other clerk went to the rear of the store and hid in a cooler, police have said. For an unknown reason, the taller man shot Regmi, Dishko said. Both suspects ran from the store. Police say they believe that no cash was taken. The suspect who drove the getaway car contacted police after bad feelings about the incident, Dishko said. Bond for Birmingham has been set at $250,000. Link to web: http://www.dfw.com/mld/dfw/news/local/13474021.htm

ss74k dude who the heck are you to tell what I should assume and what I should not highfly Thousands of murders happen around the US each year. Wouldnt you make a comment when there is a news of murders everyday that become a subject of 6 O'Clock news every day. So what is different this time. what makes it so special so that I cannot even make comments and make assumptions. I make comment and make assumptions on every murder that happen in my city.

Well Khaobadi, your assumption accuses a dead soul of being a gang member. When you assumption is so strong especially in such a sensitive matter, you need to show the basis which should be backed by substantial proof. If you read the articles and the comments made by the people who know Shekhar, it is really hard to see him involved in gangs. He seems to be in a victim in a fatal robbery. The cash register did not open at that moment which led to this incident according to the article. So, it is not suitable for making assumptions. May Shekhars soul find peace

I can sense some people who are assuming that Mr. Shekhar's death is a gangster warfare. They have one thing in common. They all curse, use foul language and words are chosen from a gangster's vocabulary. << >. I know for sure one thing that you know very less about what happened except that he was shot by black guys. 1). You didn't know he wasn't even suppose to be working that day coz he was supposed to be in Alabama. 2). He didn't have to be killed inside a gas station. He could be killed on his way home or anywhere. 3). How many Nepalese are following those gangster culture? If there is any, that could be only a few like you. You can make comment and assuption as you please anywhere you want but you are going to be fired back like this if it is the wrong place at the wrong time. I accept what you said was you thought and ok that you expressed it. But what you did here was, "You could say mom to your mother, but you called her father's wife".

"""" Three dudes came to take a life of a single man. Isnt it a coordinated attack ?. """ Khaobadi Thats exactly my point, is it a coordinated attack?? A coordinated attack to kill a 20 year old boy just becoz of a Feud in School?? Can you tell me how did their intelligence work, when the boy wasn't supposed to be working that day and they found it out.? Are we talking here about al quida against CIA or some Italian Godfather killing people for money and not taking it? And whether you mourn or not for the thousands killed cant you just give the departed soul a simple respect just by giving him the benifit of doubt?

Highfly Since no court proceedings are underway yet and the prosecutors have not brought their case out yet so no one can tell for sure if it was a gangsta fued or not. Since we dont know the full story behind it so only thing we can do is make assumptions. My assumptions could be near the truth or could be far removed from truth. All I can do is make assumptions based upon my preceptions. My preceptions could be very different from your version so what. What I dont understand is why this murder has to be different from murders that happen all over the US everyday in terms of sensitivity. The other thing is why should I believe the stories posted by people who know him(if any). It is well possible that people who knew him didnt know him well enough. I thing I can surely do is change my preceptions when the prosecutors file charges and see if their version of story is different from my assumptions when the court proceedings go ahead. At the meantime I have made many assumptions and gangsta theory is the strongest available to me. If you guys differ from my opinion you guys are free to do so..I wont care anyway.

By the way, when evey murder happen in the cities and other places in the US I have little doubt that family and relatives wont turn off their TV for the rest of their life fearing that the news of murder of their loved ones will come on 6 O'Clock news. When the news come out to the public naturally people will make all sorts of assumtions that could be near the truth or far removed from the truth. I dont believe people should be stopped from making assuptions.

Who are the retards ? was it me or you guys ? Anyone with little brains in their head can well understand that I was playing with the minds of retards over here. I kept on posting and you guys kept falling in my booby traps. I dont even know nor would care if he was a gangsta or not. I'm not interested to know how he died because it doesnt affect my life at all but I surely had a lot of fun posting and pissing off retards here. The retards didnt understand it was my deliberate attempt to piss off people and keep this thread going. Thanks for the fun anyway..you retards.

Victim's loved ones were watching you make fun of his death khaobaadi. I guess even you would agree that it was utterly disgustable act to associate oneself with. Rest, you know better. IndisGuise:O
