Calling all the Argentina fans to express their opinions and share their thoughts on how Argentina fares in Copa America 2007. Argentina are to play the U.S. in 2 hours time and I predict it to be an easy stroll on the park! However, the U.S. team's recent gold cup victory along with the fact that the U.S. hasn't played Argentina in recent years is going to make the game dodgy for the Argies but a setback is highly unlikely ( god forbid ). My prediction is an easy 2-0 victory for Argentina. My starting XI : Abondanzzieri, Ayala, Milito, Zanetti, Heinze, Mascherano, Cambiasso, Riquelme, Messi, Crespo, Tevez. Wondering where you're going to watch it? I've got the solution too. http://www.univision.com/contentroot/uol/30deportes/content/jhtml/copa_america/NOMETA_partidosEnVivo.jhtml ( thank me later ) P.S. Crystalcracker, if you want to be recognized for your knowledge on football then try to come up with something of your own in stead of copying the probable line ups off the internet and try to pose as if you're Argentina's Assistant manager! I should've figured that the way you included Veron in "your" lineup, something was fishy....and it was only yesterday that I saw the probable line up in the internet! No offenses! Exercise your own ideas, don't copy others and brag to be the father of that idea! Cheers! Argentina!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good game from Argentina! They pressured Paraguay through out the whole game and were close to score several times. With eight regular players left out from the starting line up, the rest of the team played brilliantly. Congrats to Mascherano who scored his first international goal. Pato made some good saves too. The game against Peru should be a cake walk.

There were two surprising aspects of last night's game! First- Mascherano scored, he's the 10th man in Argentine starting XI who could score a goal, the 11th being the goalie! Second- Paraguay played really sloppy and cheap football! Paraguay are the toughest opponent in South American circuit. Their ties off late have mostly ended in ties and hence I was kinda guessing that the match would be a closer encounter but by the way that Paraguay played last night, I'm still shocked to realize that the game ended in 1-0. Argentina should've scored at least 2 more!

Still cant believe why Veron is playing as a winger while TEVEZ isn't starting! Messi should replace Veron and Tevez should play as a striker! Still 0-0 http://www.univision.com/contentroot/uol/30deportes/content/jhtml/copa_america/NOMETA_partidosEnVivo.jhtml

While Tevez terrorized the Peruvian defenders in the second half by creating 3 goals, Riquelme has once again proved while he's one of the most gifted midfielders in the World! All the goals were a joy to watch but most particularly, the first goal stood out! What a one to one passing that truly was! For a moment I thought as if Argentina were playing against a high school team! Peruvians were hapless and could do nothing at all even when they were a couple of goals down! When Gago, Masche and Cambiasso were all in field, it proved the comfort level that Basile has! Tevez and Aimar as subs?!?!?! That's unimaginable! but still only a team like Argentina can brag to have players of such sublime class in their banks! Most important thing is, Even without Crespo, and even when the strikers could do nothing in the first half, Argentina could afford to play classy and calm football without even rushing things! Mexico should be slightly tougher but Argentina should easily cruise to the Copa Crown for the 16th time!

Yeah, that was some football to watch. Great one-on-one passing - it reminded me of their 6-0 massacre against Serbia in WC 06. Requeleme once again proved his genius with two stunning goals and a magnificent lay down for Messi to capitalize. The Copa America’s quarter finals have produced more than 20 goals and each game has been a complete washout. It looks like Brazil and Argentina will fight for the Championship once again unless Forlan disappoints the Samba boys – Mexico ain’t gonna disappoint Argentina even without Crespo or Maxi. Also, Mascherano can't help scoring goals all of a sudden now.

although Mexico is the toughest team in this tournament to beat due to its world class defensive line up, argentina will easily handle the situation and win the game to catch up brazil in final where they reach with luck, who snatched their title through penalities in the last tournament and will complete the revenge.

As impressive and cheeky Messi's goal was, Heinze's distance aerial ball from his half to Tevez, that led to the goal, was as spectacular and impeccable. One more thorn and we are the champions. Bring it on Brazil.

Messi's goal was quite spectacular. I think the first goal by Heinze was offside. Where is MAXI RODRIGUEZ (who scored two of the ten best goals including the best goal in last world cup) these days? Isn't he in Argentina's national team now? Any idea??

He's recuperating from an injury. Actually he was back already. featuring in the final 3 or 4 games of the la liga for atl. madrid. Basile kept him out due to his long absence from the field. Maxi is no dout Argentina national team material. He will get a call up when he gets back to full fitness.
