Why isn't there a single good looking Nepali woman? I think us Nepalese people, especially the females, are the worst looking people in the entire world. I frequently find myself mingling with Nepali people, and never have I come across anyone who is pleasing to the eyes.

Is it in the genes? I've seen plenty of South Asian women who look beautiful. They seem to have their own sense of fashion, unlike Nepali women who love to copy Britney Spears. They neither have the body nor the correct sense to pull that look of well.

Also, most of the Nepali women I've met in the US don't know how to speak English well. Whats up with that? They try so hard to fake that American accent, but miserably fail. I fall on the floor laughing everytime I hear something as ridiculous as that. Aahahaha!

So, what do you guys think it is that makes Nepali girls (and guys alike) so ugly when there are plenty of other South Asian nations who pump out the best looking girls.

I came to US 3 years back.. and yet I have accent problem..

Talking about accent. i must stress that people from south differ quite a lot in accent than people from North.. A guy from New York has hardtime understanding guy from Texas.. and then British Accent..Latino accent.. If anyone agrees on this, everyone has accent.. it's just.. which accent is perfect.. if you say texas accent is perfect.. then there are only 0.002% perfectly speaking people in the world..

Talking about women from South Asia . and particularly from India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh.. I genuinely believe that in Average.. Nepali girls are more beautiful than others.. if you take top 1% (beautiful girls) from each South Asian countries then you will find Nepali girls more physically, mentally attractive than rest of the countries..

Now taking nepali people into international arena..

1. Physical appearance:
i) Most of people in US like dark tanned skin.. Nepali girls have that feature
ii) Personally I will prefer Nepali height than Giraffe height girls
iii) The most fat girl in Nepal comes out to be below average weight here at US
2. Intellect:
i) I have seen lot of Nepali students doing extremely good here at Us
ii) Guys securing 40% in Bachelor degree in Nepal equals grade B or higher at US. (my own experience)


Now it's upto you guys to generalize everything yet again.. I think Nepali girls rock.. they will be nce help to all of us compared to everyone.. Again may be in next posting we can talk about black indians. and stupid blondes (Stereotyped)

It is me who wrote about Engineering degree and MBA. I was not bragging about it as you mentioned in your post. It seems you did not read the whole thread because it was
response to what I got from one of the women who posted that she has a MBA degree
and makes more money than me working as an investement banker. It got so personal
with this women that I had to write something to tell her that I am no dummy talking
nonesense.

I wanted to stir the water and see the ripple effects and also see where the discussion
would lead to. As it turned out to be...a woman making very personal attack on my
position. I just wanted to tell you that there are many more well educated people and
when they clarify their position, it is not bragging but making the other partyaware that
the person they are talking about is no dummy (as he/she might have thought). I hope
you would have no objection to what I just said.

Now as far as the thread is concerned, its the same story over and over again. If the originator of the thread would allow a little flexibility, can I present my perspective from a slightly different angle without marring the beauty of the nepali women nor their social liberties. Before I present my view which some mind find it ludicrous, allow me to say that I have utmost respect for nepali women (since the topic is nepali women), and what I am saying below is totally out of my CRUDE observation:

So yah, Gender issue has always fascinated me. Oh yah! I cannot generalize but also yah, nepali women in US have baffled me more than have actually fascinated me. Its amazing women voice and unite to form one entity when voicing their concerns for liberty and social justice and most importantly the equality with men. Then, with the slightest provocation, they wrath upon men using the same logic men use to make a point that how inferior NEPALI GUYS in US are compared to them just because they worked hard be it in a restaurant, gas station and so forth. They delineate them as lowly life creatures who can never meet their standards.

Its amazing these women (note: women here implies ONLY those women whom I have discussed above) make mockery of decent, hard working Nepalis. And, ironically, these women neither do they work hard, nor they are serious about their career. They even VOW plenty of times that they don't want to hang out with nepali folks. :) How easy! All they need to do is just sit pretty and wait for a man of their dreams (beauty, brains and wealth) to whisk them away. They take for granted that they can "choose" among the best of the best . And even more interesting is the fact that such men actually succumb to such women. Its funny how life works out. Then the very women have luxury of sitting back and pointing out how sorry they are for the innocent nepali gals in nepal which these average hard working nepalis want to marry.

phew! talk about opression. If women are physically oppressed, average nepali men are emotionally plundered through those multiple guessing games. ok ok ladies! before you unleash your venom, hold your horses. Allow me to show you the other side. Of course, I have had the pleasure of meeting quite a few wonderful nepali women. Women who strive to be successful, independant and make something out of their lives. Women who respect hardwork, decency and character. my heartfelt respect. But then the dilemma lingers: If the "lemme-jus-sit-pretty-gal" is paranoid about a nepali guy's job in a gas station, on what ground "career-nepali-gal" acknowledge and appreciate and possibly seek these guys as their partners? Maybe "I don't want to hurt you in the long run" is the punchline you'll hear somewhere in this context ;)

Damn! what on earth am i trying to prove. Must be that tonic of ozzfest...all i wanted to say was my transition in quest from sweety to suntali didn't happen overnight :).

I have so hard time understanding why these nepali men think they are way better or way americanized( I don't know if being americanized is better) than nepali women...

--> Oys, it was sort of a unilateral decision taken without consulting other members. FOSLA is kind of like Nepal's government -- you can dissolve it and reinstate it whenever you want. :)
