Hey friends There would be a protest really in the NY city on Sept 16th. Please join us and let?s show our support to our Nepali brothers and sisters who are protesting unelected leader?s undemocratic actions. It is expected that king would be UN giving a hypocritical speech.

Gorkhali-X Well English is just language. It is not knowledge. You must be relative of one Panchy minister who made this comment after visiting UK. ?In UK even 4 years old kids are intelligent because they speak English?. I find those people racist or castist that supports monarchy system. In fact those people saying that other caste or race is not better then corrupt one cast and race which is ruling our country for more then 250 years. I am saying people like you who consider yourself educated but can?t type one sentence without putting filth word. .Even you could be head of state if you get people?s vote. As far you think India might take Nepal. If India or china want take over Nepal they could do it. But why does India want headache when she has her proxy in palace. Have you seen how your king dressing lately? He doesn?t go anywhere without wearing kurtha and surua and Juwari coat. And that is typical Indian leader dress. And your king trusted more Indian then nepali in the past when he was businessman. And if paras son becomes king then nepali king would have 66% Indian blood. It shows how so called educated (who knows how to speak write English) can?t understand human right equality. In fact India would have hard time to control nepali politicians when we had multi-parties. Once upon a time then Indian Prime Minister Nehru visited Nepal and at the air port some nepali showed black flag to him. Lots of Indian politicians got angry about it. At that time some leader of Nepal said to Indian leaders that ?Nepal was democratic country like India so people has right to protest. And that statement put bujho in Indian. Now travel to Sikkim case when India took over Sikkim Nepal govt protested and encourage students protest but after one hour of protest Nepali police started to beat-up students. Because Indian warns king they were not happy about that. . So you now tell me who was in Indian pocket.

Look I was telling that person who was trying to paint everyone as Indian who demands democracy and republican state. I am not fan of any dresses of custom. I believe you were what are comfortable to you. Democracy is not anyone pewa. It is not Indian or American or Chinese or Nepalese it is universal. Yes I dun have daura surwal and I have no intention to get one. I wore once when I was about 10. My point is if visiting India makes you Indian agent then wearing Indian dress and marrying Indian and having Indian business partners should make one Indian dalal too.

I just came back from nepal... it seems the country is doing fine.. i dont know why these newspapers are exaggerating the intensity of the problem... the only problem i found was the maoist who have been going around killing... media censorship and all that FM being band of broadcasting news... well almost every page in the papers were filled with criticisms against the monarchy... about the FM stations.. well they had a contract stating that they were forbidden to broadcast news when it was introduced in nepal.. in other words they were only there for entertaining the people now every musicians charge money to play their songs.. so better alternative and a ear drawer news.. which is illeagal for them to do.. they are stopped and now its a big issue... about the king not having plans.. well when he took over there was a list of 21 objectives to be accomplished in 3 years... if not so he would leave... but what do the politicians do.. create obstructions in each and every step of the way... if they had guts why not let him do what he has said he would do... since curruption and all was in the list.. they knew they would be exposed so they just had to do something to not to allow the king to reach his goals.. thats how i see it.. importance of monarchy for nepal... well nepal is a small country between two big nations.. if maoists take over.. china is going to squish nepal and make it a part of it... if politicians take over... they are going to hand it over on a silver platter to india.. monarchy and the army are the two sectors in nepal that hasn't been politicized... i believe they play a vital role in the existance of nepal.. we should think of securing the country they only in constructing it... so i think monarchy is important...

KG needs to know a simple truth: even if the rebels will be defeated, KG will not achieve victory. The feudal regime is going to fall in any case. Pls send this message to him. KG's regime survives only due to external support. But this external support is not eternal. When the King of Russia (Romanov II) was outstead in February 1917, His SASURALI, ie the British Royal family failed to recognize/accept him and take him into exile to Britain, BECAUSE, for the British, their Business interests in Russia were far more important than the SON IN LAW and his family. So finally Romanov II...and his family met the ultimate destiny in Ekaterinburg.......in 1918!!!!!!!! Chetana Bhaya,.,.,.

The aim of this upcoming rally is to create better awareness of the dire situation in Nepal. So, even though YOU may not agree with it, the rally is NOT aimless. Some of us feel that the time to rigorously pursue the afore-mentioned goal is impeccable. So, even though YOU may not want to be part of it, the rally is NOT "waste of time and efforts" for us. Therefore, since we have an aim and the unflinching urge to follow up on our aim, even though YOUR ideas may not conform with it, the rally is NOT useless Yo Poonte(aka Anil Shahi), So what the hell did you gain by your protest in March 27 ? Except for Jibberish spoken by OPPERTUNISTS( the same reason why I am against this whole idea). Give This mofo(Gyaney) a chance to fix things right(at least enough time). If he dun fix it take him out by all means. As far as your fuggin free speech is concerned ? Just take a look at Patriot Act(for security menas even the self proclaimed most democratic country in the world has to sacrifice those in times of need).

Well friends you all should come to the protest if you believe in democracy and human right. It would give big boots to People of Nepal who are fighting for their basic right. At least from here we could send message that we are with them. No matter which parties of groups they come from. Myself I am very independent minded person. I dun belong to any parties but of course I believe in republican democracy.

Anil Shahi Ji - What is the dire need of Nepal at present? Peace or anti monarchy movement? Why I said it is waste of time and efforts is that protesting monarchy is not dire need of country if you are doing so for the benefit of Nepalese people living in Nepal (if you are doing (your and pupose) for the sake of securing KURSI for Girija or Makune and/or even making opportunist Murariraj a hero as you did in DC rally, then I have no comments) I feel that time and efforts has to be concentrated towards bringing lasting peace in Nepal. Abolishing monarchy will not bring such peace, rather it will bring more chaos, uprising, inter-party conflicts, ethnic problem, and even foreign interference. You may not agree with me but that is what reality is. It is easy to blame monarchy for the instability of Nepal from 2007 to 2017 and 2047 to 2059, but if you analyze the events that led to 2017 and 2059, you will find answer easily. I suggest you to read the one written by independent writer - not the one written by party activists or royalists. I don't know how long are you staying in the USA, because to analyze the events of 2047 to 2059, you don't have to read any history - because you and me have seen all the events - again for that also you have to see it from not putting on Girija's/Makune's/ or even royalists CHASMA. My intent is to persent here a neutral perspective. I have no intent to stop the protest that you guys are planning as spearheaded by youth like you and supported by Murari ji. You are free to do whatever you like; even if you want to bang your head on the wall in front of the UN building no one will oppose you. Good luck.

Psc Ji You have typical arguments who oppose change. In French revaluation there were people who used to say change would bring problem. In USA to there were monarchist who used to say becoming independent would destroy the USA. There were people would used to say you could unite country with iron fist. Very recent examples Yugoslavia and USSR .It is proven peace with iron fist destroy country over time. So it is time for to get rid of monarchy so we could unite all people who could think they would have chance lead country. Monarchy system wouldn?t unite country may be it did in 17th century not now. Cause now people believe king is like us (people) so why he should have special right over Nepal. Only people have right to give that special right. Usually we (people) give that special right to that person with by vote. It is state sponsored castisim and racism if we support monarchy system. The question is you how could you tell one that he/she shouldn?t discriminate based of caste when state does the very same thing.
