What you are saying is pretty much like-- for example, you shared a room with a non-Nepali and f**k him up with rent and utilities bills, groceries, cleaning and sanitation, etc. If that guy goes on to generalize "all Nepalese are crooked", how would other Nepalese feel? Just because you had a bad experience with someone should, by no means, be a condition for you to generalize.

I am from Jhapa and i dont say KTM ko lalitpur ko or Banepa ko manche esto hunchha even though I have had lots of bad experience. What district are you from? I'm pretty sure we all can recall at least one incident with folks from your place and start our generalization as well. And, let's see how you feel about it.

Like I said before, our country is already heading toward separation, and folks like you talking trash about other fellow Nepalese and generalizing a person's behavior and tagging everyone from that place as "crooked and sneaky" will only add fuel to the burning fire.

I do not favor or oppose generalization but want to bring up that it's related to stat. If you have death with 10 people from Japan and 8 of them turn out to be cunning then you are forded to make judgement about it. For the same reason I do not do any financial dealing with people who are grown up outside of Kathmandu valley. :)

I wouldn't generalize whole Nepali community bad based upon single incident. I have been in your shoes, when i first arrived here in US i was conned by a Nepali fellow. Again, there are bad apples in every corners.
