any idea about average schools, easier to get into for Phd in econ and/or finance.  thanks.

If you want to go for Phd or finance you can try The University of New Mexico where there are some Nepalese doing Phd and there is a nice professor from Nepal. His name is Alok Bohara. Why average schools?  If you are going to commit to a PhD program, especially in Economics or Finance (hello, we are not talking about Doctorate in Leisure Studies, are we?), why not try to get into a good graduate program.  Check out US News & World Report.  They publish graduate school rankings annually.

Thank you for the information guys, but do u guys have those proff 's phone no or any email address, so that we can talk with them directly and get more information about the admission requirement.

By the way guys did anybody know the minimum GPA we need to have in master's to get admission in PHD. Because unfortunately I just have 3.2 in MBA Finance. And anybody know about the GRE score for doc program?
