Browsing through the site, i learnt that its a photography contest. By voting it won't be Bhagwaan das who will get any benefit rather... the photographer will win. In which case... this is not about bhagwaan das at all. Its about the photographer... and the photograph is mediocre. To be honest. Now don't sell Bhagwan das's name to get votes for your picture. Correct me if I am wrong. But sorry. B.

MUKS/Photographer How is Bhagwan Das Manandhar going to benefit from this voting? This voting is going to put your (photographer's) name in the winners list, you 're the one who is going to win the prize. Who the hell is going the care about the person in the picture? It's about photography, and not the person in the photograph. Please don't use Bhagwan Das Manandhar's good cause and samaritanship when you beg for votes from unsuspecting public who vote for Bhagwan Das Manandhar and NOT your photograph. A photographer tries to sell his photographic idea. The picture, the content the placement, the lighting. You are trying to sell the goodwill of the person in the photograph as the reason to vote for your photograph which I would think is unethical. Apologies if my posting sounds harsh but it's reality 101.

at best, you will win and both you + bdm get to go to germany. i think bdm deserves the recognition. more importantly, the publicity might inspire others to initiate ventures to help care for nepal's environment. at any rate, i like what you are doing. i personally don't think that you are taking undue advantage of bdm. in business parlance, this is what's called a win-win situation. it seems that the system only allows one vote per hour per IP address, so i could only give you one vote. i also liked the concept behind the facing sustainability award. the other competitors look good, but unfortunately for me, their stories are in german. anyway, good luck with this and other similar ventures.

It will be great if Bhagwaan Das gets to experience life away from Bagmti for once (just an assumption? he may have had opportunities before...which we don?t know about). So, it?s ok if the photographer wins prizes and the subject gets to travel and be appreciated, in many cases that doesn?t even happen. Thanks for the clarification. Your list of awards is impressive. Some of the pictures in PJ Club are real good. But I still think the picture of Bhagwaan Dass is mediocre. If I had to vote for the photographer? I wouldn?t have for this particular one. Sorry. But for Bhagwaan Das and his work I just did. B.
