Sajha is for Nepali people, not for Indians. If you are so much interested of 15 August parade, go to some dhoti community.

Ha Ha Ha,
Some people are really good to see others mistake rather seeing own. I had many friends from Nepal who was really happy to participate in 15 August. It might be the independence day of India but it is more than independence. It is the best day to bring all the nepalese communities together. That is why casteism is very low in Darjeeling.
3X if I offended you then I am really sorry for you. I am happy, we are happy and all those people are happy from Nepal who has attended there school in Darjeeling.
One thing you should know that whether it is 4th july in USA or 15 August in India, we should always celebrate. Some people bring changes and it might be you.
Thanks for jotting some words.
Good luck

Sahayog,
I don't know when you graduate from St. Augustine. But I must say St. Augustine is one of the best school that we have in Darjeeling and Kalimpong division. Did you also know that in 2005, we had all ISC school competition in VVA(Vidhya Vikash Academy), Darjeeling. St. Augustine was rated third in the competition.
In 2005, we went to Rock Vale Academy for Volleyball tournament. I made a lot of friends from all the school from kalimpong. Man, Kalimpong is the most Awesome place!
I hope to hear from you

Thanks alik saro for mentioning SAS among the best schools in the Darjeeling District. I graduated from school and High School respectively from St Augustine's in the year 2003 and 2005 respectively. I know SAS used to go to Kurseong to play Volleyball tournaments but always lost out to either VVA or HBS who were really powerhouses of Volleyball in the district.
However, our school always has always been one that dominated basketball in the district.
Gaunlebhai, I studied in Himali Boarding for standard 3 and 4 before moving to St Augustine's..
