Hello
So Today I got a RIE from NBC that I need to show them that I maintained a lawful status since my first arrival in the USA
I had been out of status in the middle after my graduation
after my OPT expired I went back to school after 7 months gap and filed a F-1 Reinstatement but USCIS came back with a denial in Jan 2015 after that I was still in school until april 2015 when the earthquake happened and I applied TPS and got it on Sept 2015
Thoughts on this ?

If USCIS rejected your reinstatement , that means Consular processing will reject it too and the AOS clearly says that you cant be out of status. So hope for the best

Did you go to Nepal after you got your TPS approved? I've heard that getting a new I-94 gives you a clean slate. I believe if you were out of status for less than 180 days, you would be eligible to adjust your status from the USA, but since you have been OOS for 7 months then you might want to get an Advanced Parole and re-enter.
