hi to all,
I have a question regarding greencard processing. I'll appreciate some insight if you have knowledge on this matter. My employer is filing GreenCard for me and my wife this month. How long does it for a Nepalese national to get Greencard. Does it matter if I have masters or bachelors degree. I have masters degree. Is there a long backlog? Can someone explain what is Labor certificate? Please share your knowledge and experience.
Thanks,
LazyBoy

Do a google on this, this is important so don't be lazy. Yes, having a master helps. Ask them to apply for EB2 not EB3.

Hello Guys
I need some suggestion from sajhaties. I think I am qualified for NIW and working on to make recommendation letters. Ph.D. more than 10 journal articles, working as post doc.
In the mean time, my employer also agreed to apply EB-2 with PREM processing. I am in confusion what should I do.
1. NIW, its gonna cost me ~8000 K but process may be quicker. Also, its not 100% sure, it will approve.
2. employer will pay for lawyer and processing cost and it may take much long (~ 6 months prem processing+ ~6 month I-140+ and ~ 6 months I485).
Guys suggest me something.
Thanks

If you have Masters degree then your GC procssing will be relevantly faster however you have to file the EB2.
