recently moved to chicago suburb for a job. montly salary almost 2K jati aucha (tax katera). aba feri health insurance ni liyo bhane 100 bucks tesaima jancha. paisa bachaune bhaneko khai k khai k....tesaile insurance liu ki naliu bhairako cha bhanya....k garne hola sathi haru.....

Did you just move to US? Otherwise you won't be asking this type of questions. Health insurance is a MUST no matter how much is your salary. So yes

$100 a month is a very cheap plan for a health insurance. I hope your employer is providing it which comes usually for a lower price. dont fall into tose private crappy plans and cheap ones which does not cover most of your cost.

health cost is extremely expensive in here. for a minor cut that requires 4,5 stiches can cost about 3000 to 5000 dollars. it is not about saving money but is about kepping yourself protected against unexpected injuries. if you have to get MRI, x rays then they will charge you so much that it might actually be smarter to buy MRI and do it at home.

drink less beer or smoke (if you do),  and you will make up the 100 dollar saving for a month. if not find other saving options.
