Subaru has a best resale value. all Subaru vehicle are AWD and that would inherently make it better than it's competitors.

In terms of gas mileage . NO. In terms of luxury and extra features. NO. In terms of Safety: YES. Only subaru is true AWD. All other cars claim AWD but they are not. Their AWD kicks in only if necessary. If you are living in snowy/hilly region then it's best car. If you live in flat plane land like texas then you are losing money
