Anyone would if they can make just enough to put their kids in boarding in school until they complete their bachelor's degree, pay rent and make enough to live simple life and support family health without a problem.

I am confused on what’s wrong with this president regarding immigration??? If so those coming legally should be supporting him since he prefers everyone coming through the legal category not running through the broader and sneaking in - isn’t that how it is every country ?? Just a thought 🙏

Concur. President Trump is the only hope for America before globalists take control of this country. Somehow these caste-believing, women hating Nepalis are such a "progressive" as soon as they get off the plane. They don't want to give equal citizenship rights to women for the fear of possible migrants overflowing into Nepal. Yet, somehow they feel like they know enough to bash President Trump on his policy against illegal immigration.

Thank you all for your response. I am wondering what about your personal reason to leave Nepal or willingness to go back. Please help me understand what your thoughts are.

Musya,

it is your personal choice. what makes you happy that is most important!! If you have a decent income to cover the cost and you like being close to family and friends you can most definitely can move back home. Think pros and cons, discuss with your family and listen to their thoughts they are the only ones who would be on your side regardless. At the end of the day you should do whatever makes you happy !! there are 3+ caror ppl living in Nepal and i don't think they are all going crazy :)

Was a student in the states for over 8 years. Went back to Nepal after completing master's. Found a decent job. The pay was good, by Nepali standards. You won't be able to buy property or anything fancy (like a car) with the pay, but it is enough to feed the family and send a kid to a good English-medium school. Supplemented the income by teaching part-time in a college. However, there is an immense amount of inner peace in being close to family. Waking up every morning and seeing MY fellow Nepalis all around me and watching those hills and mountains around Kathmandu makes it all worth it.
