NTC says it provides web sms but you need to have email account in NTC. I guess, its 1000 rs. per year to c reate an email account in ntc. Although they announced that the websms has resumed, I did not find working link to register and send sms. Have a look at their website.

I think the best and the easiest way is to use msn messenger... Just add the person's cell phone number in their profile and then msn lets u sms them if they are offline... I have successfully done that for someone in US but not sure for someone outside of it... But i suppose it's the same... Go ahead and try it...hope it helps...

MSN works only for the phone in the US; what can be done, instead, is someone in Nepal can send SMS from the MSN to the phone in the US. I don't think there is any website that lets one do that.

Puja, I can't guarantee you, but you may want to try these sites: They do offer free SMS to most countries, but I don't know if it supports Nepal. http://www.blueskyfrog.com/ http://www.hooya.com/eng/
