They have won yet another game today. But will West Ham survive relegation with 3 more matches to go, with their last match being with ManU?

If Man Utd wins the title before the last game, they'll field a second team in the wake of F.A. cup finals! And besides, my man , TEVEZ is on fire! What an awesome display today! What a player. What a great display by Man United. Title headed back to Old Trafford, surely now!

Ever since Carlitos Tevez 's transfer from Corinthians along with National Team Compatriot Mascherrrano, who no longer plies his trade with Hammers, I have folllowed West Ham with great reverence. The expectation West Ham Fans including I, built on the two players signings was failing to live up to it's billing at the outset. Tevez and Mascherano were heavily criticized for West Ham's poor run. Mascherano was finding it difficult making the first team. The lack of minutes on the pitch caused Mascherano utmost frustration. While Mascherano was warming the bench for WestHam, Liverpool's Mgr Benitez looked to capitalize on his rare use by signing him. Masche's time with River and Argentina's National Team had earned him the reputation of being analogous to Makelele at all levels only to be contrasted with moving the ball forward where analysts claim Masche has an upper hand. In-despair Mascherano had to be revived and only Benitez was capable. Benitez's acquisition of Masche is turning out to be a hit. The potential that never blossomed at Upton Park is now prospering at Anfield causing Sissoko and Alonso to sweat for a spot in starting line up. Mascherano now continues to flourish under Benitez's wings while his compatriot Carlitos seems to have found his ground at Upton Park at the nick of time frequented by goals which all began with a FreeKick against English National Team Keeper Robinson. The Goal drought which had plagued Tevez's move was now over. The monkey on Tevez's shoulder was now gone. Tevez's performance in recent games is a testimony to that. Tevez now has the responsibility of retaining a spot for the Hammers. What once looked impossible is now looking attainable. Thanks to Carlitos's resurgence in form. West Ham now awaits The Red Devils and Bolton Wanderers wary that it will not be easy for them. If there's one who will survive the Hammers from Relegation then It is the one and only Carlitos..(The sole Argentine who Conquered Brazil ) Carlitos will do it and in him we believe.

Good read Seba. I've been following Liverpool after Mascherano and Wesh Ham after both of them transferred even more than I've followed Man United my team! It's been revealed that Mascherano was mostly subbed due to financial reasons meaning the more he played the more the hammers would have to pay to the owner..kia...that is. Also, Mascherano has threated the position of Sissoko and in fact has dislodged him from the starting XI but he hasn't done that with Alonso. We've seen at least 2 matches where both of them played together ( mascherano and Sissoko ) and the case being Alonso rested. His only weak performance has been the 1st leg of the semis but given that he was rested yesterday, there are high chances that he will play on tuesday and also help liverpool win it! Nothing can be said about Tevez! What a phenomenal player. Often compared to Rooney, there are tons of people who believe that he's not only similarly built to Rooney, and equally pacy but he's more skilful! What a magician and why doesn't it surprise the fans on the prospect of him winning the hammer of the year award! The fans love him and had the fans not chanted his names, he'd have been headed straight out of Wesh Ham and never gotton to show his true colors. He's been a revelation to the hammers and one of the only few positives in this bleaky and dreadful season! I'd want him to stay and play as a striker in stead of playing in a fiddle role as a supplier that Curbishley has asked him to play as. He can score no doubt! Surely an Argentine by nationality, Striker by position, highest scorer in Brazil along with 3 back to back South American best player of the year awards has so much to display and overshadow the likes of Ronaldo and company! Can't wait for the new season to start!

Agreed on Tevez's position on the field. He's best when he plays on the opponents upper half. Tevez, i have noticed many times, seems to play very deep at his own field which takes so much out him. The guy is everywhere on the pitch. U can see him at left back position, right back position, central midfield, at the planks and every places imaginable on the park. Reflects his versatility. Well doesn't matter as long as he wins games for them. I'm amazed on his ability to win 50-50 despite his physique. The way he uses his upper body against others even players bigger his size to shield and move the ball forward. I read and heard somewhere that West Ham's performance after their game in White heart Lane is a feat that is bested by only the top 3 clubs in standings in the premier league. 5 wins out of 7 after their hiccup at White Heart lane. Doesn't mean anything but just being optimistic. Also rumors that Benitez and Mourinho were enquiring about Tevez. Hope he doesn't go anywhere because he has to prove that he definitely wasn't acquired to put West Ham on a relegation zone and pull them out of it.

Tevez can be a legend there in West Ham. The fans absolutely love him and so does the coach. he is the focus of media. I think he should stay and Wesh Ham and seek a long-term career out there. I dont want him to get lost so many other Argentines in Europe, despite the talent to be superstar.

As far as Tevez's build is concerned, he was always considered to be a strong and stocky forward ( remember the Rooney comparison ) . When he was felled down by Tottenham defender, the commentator made a comment which clearly suggested that Tevez was a big forward. And the moment he converted his free kick and rushed towards the crown, seeing the fans reaction, I cried. That for me was really incredible. I'm hopeful that with Liverpool's recent takeover, Benitez will purchase Tevez ( the fans are already calling for it ). If not then I hope that he will play for Man Utd ( unlikely as United already has Rooney who plays in similar position ). However, Chelsea have also been rumored to be interested and I don't know why, but I get the funny feeling that he will play for them as Drogba and Kalou are definitely going to be missed when they travel to play in Africans nations cup at the start of 2008. For the moment though, I'm cherishing every moment that I'm getting to watch him play and every time I hear the crowds singing "there's only one carlos tevez" , my heart is delighted! One Love, One game! Football! Yesterday, today and forever and ever!!!

I just downloaded the whole game! I'm busy following his shots....especially the one where he hit the woodwork. Some real nice touches and great skills from what I've seen so far.

Had he been scoring free fluently, or from the start of the season then I'm sure that he'd have performed it but he's been in TOP form at the final 4th quarter of the season and with his time still struggling and hoping to stay off the relegation zone, he doesn't have the comfort of dancing at the moment. If he had scored 5-6 goals in the first half of the season then West Ham wouldn;t be in the position that they're in at the moment. Also, he never really got enough games at the start did he?
