Because of Prashant's hold in indian media and current adulation all over Nepal and india, it is most likely that Prashant - an unknown name till a year ago, is now more famous than other veteran Nepali artists. Comparision is made with Sabin Rai the currently US touring pop artist who had gained some fame in Nepal as the Nepali Bryan Adams. If Sabin Rai is Bryan Adams, Prashant has all the makings of becoming the next Michael Jackson - at least fame wise.

It is so sad that a hardworking and good singer like Sabin Rai is being ridiculed for an Indian winner of Indian Idol. I think we need to support our own singers as well. it is not necessary that he become world famous. His judgement should be based on his singing. And if singing is concerned, for me Sabin Rai is far more better than Prashant Tamang.

I would rather listen to Sabin Rai and pay for his concerts.

Prashant craze is only for some time.......U can't compare how he is doin now with how Sabin Rai is doin..............Its like comparing a river which appears huge in the rainy season but there will be no water in the winter.I don't mean Prashant is not gud or he is not talented but wat I wanna tell is he still need to work out to keep his fame remain.U can even compare when ever Miss World is announced, for couple of months she is on the media but after that no body knows about her whereabout.Another Prashant will come next year,its true,he may not be nepali but another indian idol is gonna come.............But every year different Sabin Rai isn't gonna come in music industry...................now he has been a kind of legend in nepali music industry.....Don't  compare Prashant with Sabin Rai...........If u really wanna  find the truth,compare after a year then u can find who is Michael Jackson..............................................................
